Die Online-Konferenz wurde von Prof. Dr. Stefanie Frisch (Goethe-Universit\u00e4t Frankfurt, Didaktik des Englischen), Prof. Dr. Karen Glaser und Anne Schrader (beide Universit\u00e4t Leipzig) und Dr. Constanze Dre\u00dfler (Bergische Universit\u00e4t Wuppertal) organisiert. Wissenschaftler*innen, Lehrkr\u00e4fte und Studierende tauschten sich \u00fcber aktuelle Forschung zum fr\u00fchen Fremdsprachenlernen aus. Nach den Gru\u00dfworten von Prof. Dr. Viera Pirker (Vizepr\u00e4sidentin f\u00fcr Studium und Lehre an der Goethe-Universit\u00e4t Frankfurt) und Prof. Dr. Birgitta Wolff (Rektorin der Bergischen Universit\u00e4t Wuppertal) konnten die Teilnehmenden aus dem vielf\u00e4ltigen Programm z.B. Vortr\u00e4ge zu Virtual Exchange Projekten, Assessment, Task-based Language Teaching und Literacy ausw\u00e4hlen. Das Programm der Konferenz setzte sich aus drei Keynote-Vortr\u00e4gen, 26 Vortr\u00e4gen in neun thematischen Sektionen, drei Roundtables sowie Posterpr\u00e4sentationen zusammen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bei der ATFLY handelt es sich um ein Konferenzformat, das im Dreijahres-Rhythmus den Rahmen f\u00fcr den internationalen wissenschaftlichen Austausch zum fr\u00fchen Fremdsprachenlernen bereitstellt. Da das fr\u00fche Fremdsprachenlernen weltweit an Bedeutung gewinnt, hatten sich die Organisatorinnen f\u00fcr ein internationales und virtuelles Format entschieden. \u201eWir sind \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigt von der hohen Qualit\u00e4t der Vortr\u00e4ge und der hohen Teilnehmendenzahlen. Wir freuen uns, nun die Publikation der zentralen Erkenntnisse auf den Weg zu bringen.\u201c So die Konferenzorganisatorinnen Stefanie Frisch und Karen Glaser.
